Meet the Cast

Meet the cast and director of our latest cycle of our acclaimed outrageous comedy Five Lesbians Eating A Quiche including two new ladysisters with one making her What If? debut! 

Sarah Callahan Black (Ginny) is delighted to be back with What If? Productions after choreographing Evil Dead: The Musical and appearing as Fraulein Kost in Cabaret. Most recently, Sarah choreographed Charleston Stage’s production of Sister Act at the Dock Street Theatre! Favorite on stage credits include ­­Andy in Addicted to Love (34 West), Sherrie in Rock of Ages, Miss Bufton in London Wall (Village Rep.), Rita in White Christmas (Charleston Stage), Cinderella in Cinderella, Goldilocks in Goldilocks and the Three Bears, Little Red in Little Red Riding Hood (Sprouts Musical Theatre), and Chava in Fiddler on the Roof (Threshold Rep). She is also a cast member with Glass Slipper Productions and a teaching artist for Dance Laugh Learn! Beth Curley (Wren) is so excited to reprise her role as Wren in Five Lesbians Eating a Quiche. Beth last appeared on stage with What If? Productions as Frankie in the World Premiere of The Cannibals. She also most recently appeared as Mother Superior in Charleston Stage's Sister Act at the Historic Dock Street Theatre. Other What If? Productions credits include: Cabaret (Fraulein Schneider), Baby With the Bathwater (Helen), Hearts Full of Blood (Allison), Little Shop of Horrors (Ronette) and Hedwig and the Angry Inch (Yitzhak). Charleston Stage credits include: White Christmas (Martha Watson), Mary Poppins (Mrs. Brill), The Seat of Justice (Mrs. Elizabeth Waring), Catch Me If You Can: The Musical (Carol Strong), The Diary of Anne Frank (Mrs. Frank), Gershwin at Folly (Dorothy Heyward), Inga Binga (Betty) and The 39 Steps (The Woman). When not on stage, Beth is the Director of Marketing/Resident Graphic Designer for Charleston Stage.

Camille Lowman (Vern) Camille is making her What If? debut with Five Lesbians Eating A Quiche. She is orignally from South Carolina and a graduate of College of Charleston. After college, Camille moved to Chicago, IL to study and perform at both the iO Theatre (formerlly Improv Olympic) and Second City.  She then moved to New York City to study at Atlantic Acting School. She is settled back in Charleston and is honored to be a Core Ensemble member at Pure Theatre. Camille Lowman's recent stage credits include Marie Antoinette, Failure:  A Love Story, Constellations, The Curious Case of the Watson Intelligence. She can also be seen at Theatre 99 and Rip City performing improv comedy and sketch. She is so thrilled to join the long legacy of the ladysisters!

Other recent credits: Addicted To Love (Cathy) with 34 West, Mary Poppins (Winifred) & Young Frankenstein (Frau Blucher) with Charleston Stage, Grey Gardens (Edith/Little Edie), London Wall (Miss Janus), & Spamalot (Lady of the Lake) with Village Rep, and Always… Patsy Cline (Patsy Cline) with Midtown Productions. She received a Master’s in Performing Arts from Savannah College of Art & Design and a BA in Theatre and French from College of Charleston. Becca is a 2-time Charleston City Paper Reader’s Pick/1-time Critic's Pick for Best Local Actress and a 3-time Theatre Charleston Award Winner. For D, the EGGception to the rule.

Productiions and has directed many of the company's most acclaimed shows including Cabaret, Thrill Me: The Leopold & Loeb Story, Amadeus, Hedwig & the Angry Inch, Kate & Sam Are Not Breaking Up, The House of Yes and Evil Dead: The Musical. He has also appeared on the What If? stage in The Trials & Tribulations of a Trailer Trash Housewife, Bash, and Hearts Full of Blood. Kyle is a proud member of the Charleston Stage Acting Company appearing there in Young Frankenstein (The Monster), The Underpants (Versati), Sheer Madness (Nick), The 39 Steps (Richard Hannay) and 9 to 5: The Musical (Mr. Hart).
