'No men. No meat. All manners.'

Piccolo Spoleto Show Dates:
May 27 & 28, June 1 & 4  at 7:00pm and June 2 at 9:00pm

This one-of-a-kind critical and audience favorite brings the ladysisters back for their fourth Charleston quiche-eating engagement and second Piccolo Spoleto run since its 2012 festival debut.

The ladies of the Susan B Anthony Society for the Sisters of Gertrude Stein are hosting their annual quiche breakfast and you're invited to attend as they sample each other's pies while preparing for a potential nuclear invasion. Thanks to the handy craftsmanship of Buildings& Grounds Chairman Veronica 'Vern' Schultz, all the ladies are safe in their fellowship hall/fall out shelter, just in case anything happens. But when mistakes are exposed and the communists strike, chickens get forgotten, quiches become scarce and the lady sisters (Vern, Lulie, Wren, Dale and Ginny) are forced to deal with their desperate love for the heavenly pie and perhaps each other.

Five Lesbians Eating A Quiche made its Charleston and East Coast premiere in 2012 out of a partnership with What If?'s Chicago sister theatre The New Colony. Written by CofC alum and New Colony co-founder and Artistic Director Evan Linder along with Andrew Hobgood, marked its first production outside of the original Chicago production with What If?'s Charleston production in 2012. Since then the show has gone on to be produced all over the world with publishing representation now with Samuel French. The show proved so popular with Charleston audiences that the show returned for a Piccolo Spoleto run as well as a season 4 revival set at Christmas in 2013. Back by popular demand, this will mark WIP's fourth production of the show and will feature three of the original ladysisters (Beth Curley, Andrea McGinn and Becca Anderson) reprising their iconic roles from all three previous cycles.
